Brissta founders Elizabeth and Michael

Our gut deserved
better coffee

Hi! We're Elizabeth and Michael, and about a year ago, we quit our jobs to build Brissta.

We're huge coffee snobs, but our daily habit came with a catch.

Our coffee left us feeling bloated and irritated our stomachs.

So we decided to make our own.

After months of formulating in our kitchen, we landed on an instant latte that was easy on our stomachs, quick to make at home, and more affordable than the coffee shop.

Brissta started in our kitchen and not a science lab, meaning we've stayed true to ingredients you trust. No gums, no fillers, no seed oils, and nothing hiding behind a "natural flavors" label.

Reviews from people who actually drink Brissta

Things we get asked a lot

Wait, is this just instant coffee?

Nope! Instant coffee is just the coffee.

Our Café Au Lait is the whole latte: real coffee and creamy plant-based milk in one scoop, with 2g of prebiotic fiber in every cup to help keep you regular.

Just add water and it's ready in 30 seconds, without the gums, emulsifiers, or seed oils you'll find in a lot of creamers and instant lattes.

Can I drink Brissta on an empty stomach?

Yes! Honestly, that's a big part of why we made it.

We love coffee, but a morning cup on an empty stomach can be rough, so we formulated our Café Au Lait to be gentle first thing: plant-based milk to mellow the acidity, prebiotic fiber, and none of the gums or emulsifiers that can be hard on sensitive stomachs.

Yes! Brista is shelf-stable, non-perishable, and easy to pack. It travels well and is TSA-friendly.

While you can travel with both sticks & eco-bags, we recommend the eco-bags for at-home & office use and sticks for on-the-go!

How much caffeine is in a cup?

Each Brissta has about as much caffeine as you could expect from a regular cup of coffee - think about ~80mg.

Brissta is designed to feel smooth and satisfying, not overwhelming.
